TDS Return Filing

Quarterly TDS return filing under Form 24Q/26Q/27Q - deducted, deposited and reported correctly, so credit flows through to your vendors and employees without notices.

Quarterly deadlines

Filed by the 31st of the month following each quarter - late filing draws daily fees.

Late fee ₹200/day

Under Section 234E, capped at the TDS amount deducted for that quarter.

Form 16/16A follows

TDS certificates for employees and vendors are generated only after correct filing.

PAN mismatches are common

Incorrect PANs cause credit mismatches that trigger notices months later.

If a notice does arrive, our tax team drafts and files the response as part of the engagement.

Common questions

Do I need to file even if TDS deducted is zero?

A nil return is generally not mandatory, but we recommend filing a declaration to avoid ambiguity with the department.

What happens if a return has errors after filing?

A correction statement can be filed on TRACES - we handle this as part of ongoing filing support.

Can late fees be waived?

Late fees under Section 234E are generally not waivable, which is why we prioritise filing well ahead of the deadline.

Never miss a TDS deadline again.
